We guarantee an accuracy of up to 99.97% for fields that are verified. Verification is a blind-double key by a 2nd operator. The result is that every character in the record is keyed twice by two operators. While in verify mode, each character is checked and compared against the original data. Characters that do not match the original data will cause the program to sound an alarm and lock the keyboard forcing the verifier to key the data a third time. Only the best operators become verifiers – the best is defined as the most efficient keyers that can turn the project around quickly, accurately and can pick up on the rules of the job easily.

If work is not verified there is a guarantee of 97% accuracy. All work goes through quality control measures. Written instructions are created for all projects as well as help lines on the data entry screen. After the keyer has completed her batch of work shift supervisors or data entry managers will check records in her batch for data integrity and to be certain that the operator is following and applying the rules and specifications of the project. A combination of programming attributes and edits that protect the fields, experienced managers and operators produce highly accurate data turned around within the project timeline.

Turnaround is directly affected by the volume of the job. If the assignment has a high priority, this must be noted during the quoting of the job. The project will be quoted with the service fee and the turnaround schedule. 45+ years of experience provide Forr’s with accurate tools to determine the duration of an assignment. Once the assignment is in the workflow queue it is carefully monitored. Stats are collected several times throughout the day to monitor operator progress and to keep the assignment on course.

Forr’s has the ability to key from both paper and image. The data entry software used by Forr’s was designed to provide an efficient and accurate method of keying data to be easily integrated into the customer’s database. The keyboard is reconfigured to allow heads down data entry from paper at an operator’s fullest capacity. Forr’s also has the ability to key from scanned images using a split – screen  configuration. Forr’s also provides a service to scan your hardcopy documents to image files for archival purposes or more complex database searches.

​Forr’s can either provide you an ftp address to upload the image files and send you data back via email or ftp.   Your company may also provide Forr’s with an FTP site to log-in and collect the documents.  Forr's utilizes the Microsoft ecosystem and can share documents through cloud services.  You can also send us data/documents via shipping services.

​We use OCR only in cases where image files are scanned in a similar format and there can be an accuracy of 60% or more form the OCR files. If a document is OCR’d there is a thorough check of each record where quality editors will clean-up all suspect characters.

We can offer a turn around time of 12-48 hours depending on your requirements. An analysis of the project is performed at the time of collecting information on the assignment for the quote. Volume, type of data and client’s urgency are all taken into consideration.

Forr’s service bureau model is based on data security and confidentiality. We have put into place both technical and procedural policies for data security. There is a security policy in place that is distributed to all staff members. All the employees are bound by confidentiality agreements and there is immediate termination clause for even a minor breach. Please see our security page for more detailed information on the topic. 

​If you are a first time customer of Forr’s there is a 50% deposit required at the start of the project The remaining balance will be billed at the close of the project. If it is a high volume assignment, the billing may occur weekly. If it is a high volume assignment, Forr’s may request a deposit at the start of the project. A typical job with a long standing customer would get billed at the completion of the assignment. Projects are typically billed on a per record basis. Billing will include the record count multiplied by unit price and any additional line items that are specific to your project. Payment is expected within 1 month of the invoice data.

Purchase Orders are helpful.  Payment can be setup by ACH, Checks, PayPal Business Services..

We don't charge anything for database creation or for any specific database output if the work volume is for more than 10,000 records coding and the database has simple requirements. For smaller volume or complex survey work, there is a set-up fee and the cost will be provided to you after a review of the details of the assignment. There may also be additional charges for Access database creation. Additional fees may be applied for output requirements, administrative add-ons.

Absolutely! It is part of the process to test all assignments. Once Forr’s receives confirmation on an assignment, the data entry template is created and sample records are data entered and forwarded to the contact person at your company for review and approval.
